RoboForex Cashback: Rebates, Up to 10% on Balance and VIP Levels
RoboForex pays verified clients rebates on monthly trading volume above 10 lots, plus a payment of up to 10% on account balances, with VIP levels adding up to 40% more. These aren't bonuses and can be withdrawn. Here is how each program works and what you can expect.

RoboForex runs three loyalty programs that return money to active clients. Cashback (Rebates) pays a share of trading costs back each month to verified clients trading at least 10 lots. 'Up to 10% on account balance' pays a percentage based on your balance, scaled by how much you trade. And the VIP program boosts both by up to 40% once your total funds pass $3,000. RoboForex stresses that rebates and balance payments aren't bonus funds and can be withdrawn freely.
RoboForex reserves the right to refuse payouts in these programs without giving reasons, so treat them as a welcome extra rather than part of your trading plan.

Cashback (Rebates)
Rebates are calculated on monthly trading volume in currency pairs and metals; CFD volume doesn't count. They are paid on the first day of each month as a balance operation marked 'Rebates', and you can follow your volume on the Your Rebates page in the Members Area.

Up to 10% on account balance
This program pays a percentage based on your account balance, with the rate set by your trading volume. RoboForex lists 2.5% for 1 to 10 lots, 5% for 10 to 1,000 lots and 10% for more than 1,000 lots. It applies to all real account types except R StocksTrader, and payments are transferred automatically each month once the volume requirement is met. VIP status is granted automatically when your total funds reach the threshold. It also improves VPS conditions and, where available in your region, adds a personal VIP manager.
Are they worth it?
For active traders, yes: a Pro trader doing 1,000 lots a month of EUR/USD gets back about $910, and ECN traders recover up to a tenth of their commission. Occasional traders gain little, as the 10-lot minimum for rebates means little or nothing. Our RoboForex fees guide shows the costs these programs offset.
Never trade more to earn rebates. A rebate of under a dollar per lot is small next to the spread and the market risk of extra trades.
How rebates are calculated
For Pro and ProCent accounts, RoboForex pays a fixed amount per lot, different for each instrument, and adds the results together. Gold earns $0.80 a lot at the first tier and silver $3.25. Cent accounts receive a tenth of the Pro rate: RoboForex's example of 3,000 cent lots of EUR/USD at 1.30 US cents each earns 390 cents.
For ECN and Prime, the rebate is a percentage of the total commission you paid that month: 5% from 10 lots, 7% above 1,000 lots and 10% above 3,000 lots. RoboForex's example of an ECN account paying $27,000 in commission over 5,000 lots returns $2,700.
Combining programs
Rebates, the balance program and VIP bonuses can all apply to the same account. A Silver VIP trading Pro, for example, earns its fixed rebates plus 20% more, and its balance payment plus 20% more. For a large, active account, the combined return can noticeably cut net trading costs.
R StocksTrader accounts are left out of both rebates and the balance program, so stock traders shouldn't count on them.
Tracking your rebates
The Your Rebates page in the Members Area shows your trading volume as it builds during the month. Payments arrive on the first of the following month, marked 'Rebates' in the account history, so you can reconcile them against your volume.
Rebates vs bonuses
RoboForex draws a clear line between its loyalty programs and its welcome bonus. Rebates and balance payments are paid as ordinary funds, which you can trade or withdraw as you like, with no volume conditions attached. Bonuses usually come with trading requirements before they, or the profit made with them, can be withdrawn.
That makes rebates the more useful of the two for active traders. They reward trading you would do anyway, rather than encouraging you to trade more to unlock money.
Who benefits most
Traders on ECN or Prime who trade several hundred lots a month recover a meaningful slice of their commission. Pro traders at similar volumes earn fixed amounts that add up to hundreds of dollars a month. Occasional traders below 10 lots receive no rebates at all, and the balance program pays only 2.5% at 1 to 10 lots.
Rebates are calculated per symbol and added together, so a trader active in several pairs and gold earns from all of them at once.
RoboForex's rebates are a genuine discount for people who already trade a lot. Join, track the Your Rebates page, and treat the payment as a cost reduction, not as income to chase.
Mariam trades about 150 lots a month of EUR/USD and gold on a RoboForex Pro account. On the first of each month she receives roughly $100 in rebates, which she counts against her spread costs rather than as profit.
