RoboForex Fees: Spreads, ECN and Prime Commissions, Swaps and Withdrawals
RoboForex's costs depend on the account: Pro and ProCent build their fee into spreads from 1.3 pips, while ECN and Prime charge a commission per million dollars traded on spreads from 0. Deposits are free, withdrawals carry method fees except on three free Tuesdays a month. Here is every RoboForex charge.
RoboForex's fees fall into three groups. Trading costs come from the spread on Pro and ProCent accounts, and from a raw spread plus commission on ECN and Prime. Overnight positions pay swaps unless your account is swap-free. And moving money out costs a fee that depends on the payment method, except on the free-withdrawal days RoboForex runs three times a month. Deposits carry no RoboForex fee.
RoboForex also pays money back through rebates and a balance program, which can cut your net costs noticeably if you trade regularly.

How ECN and Prime commission works
RoboForex quotes ECN and Prime commission per million US dollars of trading volume, shown as, for example, '20 / mio' in its contract specifications. Its Help Center works through an MT4 ECN example at 20 USD per million. On USD/JPY, one lot is 100,000 USD, so one side costs 2 USD and a round turn 4 USD. For EUR/USD, one lot of 100,000 EUR was worth 108,585 USD in its example, so the round turn came to about 4.34 USD.
| Pair (MT4 ECN, $20 per million) | Notional per lot | Round-turn commission |
|---|---|---|
| USD/JPY | $100,000 | $4.00 |
| EUR/USD (at 1.08585) | $108,585 | About $4.34 |
MT4 ECN and Prime accounts charge the full round-turn commission upfront when you open; MT5 accounts charge once on opening and once on closing. Prime's rates are lower than ECN's; check the current figures on RoboForex's contract specifications page.
Swaps
Positions held overnight pay or receive swaps, shown in each instrument's contract specification. RoboForex's swap-free option removes them on currencies and metals for accounts opened with it. Our RoboForex swap-free guide explains how to enable it.
Deposit and withdrawal fees
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal |
|---|---|---|
| Skrill | 0% | 1% |
| Neteller | 0% | 1.9% |
| STICPAY | 0% | 2.5% + $0.30 |
| Local bank transfer | 0% | Up to 4% |
| Visa, Mastercard, JCB | 0% | Up to 2.6% + $1.30 |
On the second, third and fourth Tuesday of each month, the first withdrawal of the day is free. Our RoboForex withdrawal guide covers the rules.
R StocksTrader charges
On R StocksTrader, RoboForex adds a markup to the market spread that it says tends towards 0.15% of the instrument's value, rather than charging per order. Leveraged positions pay interest overnight, about -7% a year on US stocks above 1:1 leverage, and currency conversion carries its own markup. Our RoboForex stocks guide works through examples.
Money back: rebates and balance payments
Verified clients trading at least 10 lots a month of currencies and metals receive rebates: fixed amounts per lot on Pro and ProCent, or 5% to 10% of commission on ECN and Prime. RoboForex also pays up to 10% a year on account balances, depending on volume. Our RoboForex cashback guide explains both.
Costs you won't pay
- Deposit fees from RoboForex.
- Fees for R StocksTrader market data, monthly platform charges or minimum volume.
- Civil liability insurance, which RoboForex provides at no extra fee.
- Withdrawal commission on the first withdrawal of each free Tuesday.
Keeping costs down
- Choose ECN or Prime if you trade often; raw spreads plus commission usually beat a 1.3-pip spread.
- Withdraw on free Tuesdays.
- Join the rebate program once you trade 10 lots a month.
- Enable swap-free when opening an account if you hold currencies or gold overnight.
Working out your own costs
The fairest way to compare RoboForex's accounts is to price a month of your own trading. Take the number of lots you trade, multiply by the typical spread in pips and the pip value for Pro, and compare with ECN's lower spread plus about $4 per lot in commission. Then subtract the rebates you'd receive at your volume.
For a trader doing 20 lots a month on EUR/USD, a 1.3-pip Pro spread costs about $260 before rebates; ECN at a tighter spread plus commission usually comes in lower. At very low volumes, the simplicity of Pro may be worth the difference.
Hidden costs to watch
Swaps on positions held for weeks can outgrow spreads and commission, so check the contract specification for each instrument you hold overnight. Currency conversion can add cost if your account currency differs from the instruments you trade, especially on R StocksTrader, where a markup applies to conversion rates. And withdrawals outside free days carry method fees that are easy to overlook.
Fees compared with other brokers
RoboForex's free deposits and three free withdrawal days a month compare well with brokers that charge on every withdrawal, while its method fees on other days are higher than at brokers that never charge. Its Pro spreads from 1.3 pips sit in the middle of the market, and ECN and Prime aim at active traders.
Rebates make the difference for regular traders. A comparison that ignores them overstates RoboForex's costs for anyone trading more than 10 lots a month.
RoboForex's headline costs look average, but the net cost after rebates and free withdrawals can be low for an active trader. Do the sums with your own volume before choosing between Pro and ECN.
Diego trades about 40 lots a month on a RoboForex ECN account. He pays commission per million traded, gets 5% of it back as rebates on the first of each month, and withdraws profits on the second Tuesday, paying no withdrawal fee.
