IUX Platforms: MT5, IUX Trade App, WebTerminal and Client Dashboard
IUX supports MetaTrader 5 only, not MT4, alongside its own IUX Trade App, WebTerminal and a trading screen built into the client dashboard with TradingView charts. Here is what each does, how to log in and how to fix common problems.
IUX gives you four ways to trade. MetaTrader 5 runs on Windows, Mac, the web and mobile. The IUX Trade App is its own iOS and Android app for trading and managing money. IUX's WebTerminal is a browser platform, and the client dashboard has a built-in trading screen with TradingView Advanced Charts. All of them connect to the same account and sync in real time.
One thing IUX doesn't offer is MetaTrader 4. Its Help Center says it currently provides access only to MT5, and MT4 and MT5 accounts aren't interchangeable.

MetaTrader 5
IUX's MT5 page lists Level II market depth, seven order types including trailing stops, tick-by-tick quotes, 80+ built-in indicators and real-time margin monitoring. You can download it for Windows or macOS, use the MT5 WebTerminal in a browser, or install the MT5 apps from the App Store or Google Play. MT5 desktop is the only IUX platform that runs Expert Advisors.
To log in to any MT5 version, enter your trading account number, your trading password (not your website password) and the server name shown on your account card in the IUX member area.
IUX Trade App
The IUX Trade App combines trading with account management. You get Market Watch prices, charts, one-tap trading, trade history, deposits, withdrawals and internal transfers in one place. IUX advertises 120+ instruments, 100+ indicators on the app's charting, trailing stops, take profit, daily market insights and in-app education, and it works on tablets as well as phones. It needs iOS 12 or Android 5.0 or later.
IUX WebTerminal and client dashboard
IUX's WebTerminal runs in any browser without downloads and offers 100+ indicators, OCO, trailing and bracket orders, portfolio analytics and two-factor login. The client dashboard also has a trading screen: after logging in you land on the Markets menu, pick an account, search for an asset, set your lot size and trade, with an optional one-click mode. Open positions sit under the Positions tab, and past orders under History.
Both use TradingView Advanced Charts, with candles, line and Heikin Ashi chart types, indicators such as moving averages, RSI and MACD, and drawing tools. See how to open an IUX account to get started.
Passwords and access
| Password | Use |
|---|---|
| Login password | IUX website, client area and IUX app |
| Trading password | Placing and managing trades in MT5 |
| Investor password | View-only access; can't trade |
If the buy and sell buttons are missing in MT5, IUX says you have probably logged in with the investor password. Log out and use the trading password. You can change the MT5 password or create an investor password from the account card's menu under Trading Accounts.
Fixing common problems
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Invalid account" in MT5 | Wrong server or password | Check the server on the account card |
| No buy or sell buttons | Investor password used | Log in with the trading password |
| Can't open more trades | Not enough free margin | Reduce lot size or close positions |
| Symbols look different | Account suffix | .iux for Standard, none for Raw, a dot for Pro |
| Charts differ from another broker | Different server time and feeds | Normal; IUX uses London and Singapore servers |
IUX's MT5 servers have routine maintenance every two weeks on Sunday from 05:00 server time, usually lasting 15 to 30 minutes, when trading, the client portal and transfers can pause.
You can be logged in on several devices at once, and positions sync across all of them. Log out of devices you no longer use.
Which IUX platform should you use?
For EAs and serious chart analysis, use MT5 desktop. The IUX Trade App covers trading and managing money from your phone. If you can't install software, the WebTerminal or client dashboard work in any browser. Many traders combine them: MT5 for analysis, the app for checking positions and withdrawals. IUX also links to Myfxbook's Autotrade for copying signal providers, though that service is run by Myfxbook, not IUX. Compare platforms with other brokers in RoboForex vs IUX.
Trade history and records
Every platform keeps your records. In MT5, the History tab lets you pick a period and export a file. On the IUX website, the History menu shows Positions, Orders and Deals with date filters, and a Transaction tab for deposits and withdrawals. The IUX Trade App has its own History section with an Export button.
Charts and candle times at IUX can look slightly different from another broker's. Its Help Center says this comes from server locations in London and Singapore, different session hours and feed timing, and that prices generally line up once a candle closes.
All IUX platforms connect to the same account, so a trade opened in MT5 appears in the app and the dashboard at once. Pick the main platform you'll analyse on, and use the others for quick checks and money transfers.
IUX's lack of MT4 matters only if you depend on MT4-only tools. For everyone else, MT5 plus IUX's own app covers charting, automation and money management, and the TradingView charts in the browser platforms are a genuine plus.
Thanh couldn't log in to MT5 and kept getting "Invalid account". The account card in the IUX member area showed a different server name from the one he had chosen. Once he selected the right server and used his trading password, the account connected.
