IUX Withdrawal: Requirements, Methods, Times and Why It Can Fail
IUX says withdrawals are fee-free, open 24/7 and usually processed in minutes, from a $10 minimum. They only work after full verification, only to an account in your name and, with open trades, only up to 90% of free margin. Here is the process and how to avoid delays.
IUX's payment page lists a minimum withdrawal of $10, no withdrawal fee and a processing time of 2 to 10 minutes. Its Help Center gives a slightly more cautious figure: usually 5 to 15 minutes, and not more than 24 hours. You can submit a request at any time, including weekends and public holidays.
Fast processing only helps if your request is accepted in the first place. Most withdrawal problems at IUX come from three rules: full verification, matching names and the refund-to-source policy.
| Minimum | $10 on all accounts |
|---|---|
| IUX fee | None (bank fees may apply) |
| Processing | 2 to 10 minutes (payment page); up to 24 hours (Help Center) |
| Hours | Requests accepted 24/7 |
| Verification | POI, POA and POB required |
| With open trades | Up to 90% of free margin |
What you need before withdrawing
- A fully verified profile: identity (POI), address (POA) and bank account (POB).
- Your receiving account must be in exactly the same name as your IUX profile; IUX bars third-party withdrawals.
- The same method you deposited with, under IUX's refund-to-source policy.
- An amount of at least $10.
If the Withdraw button doesn't work, incomplete verification is the most common reason, IUX says. See our IUX verification guide for document rules.
How to withdraw
- Log in to the IUX website or app.
- Click the Wallet icon and choose Withdraw, or click Withdraw on an account card under Trading Accounts.
- Pick the trading account and withdrawal method, then click Next.
- Enter the amount in US dollars; IUX converts it to your local currency at the rate at that moment.
- Confirm, then enter the one-time password IUX sends.
- Wait for the confirmation email, and track the request under History.
Methods and timing
| Method | Withdrawals? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Local bank transfer | Yes | To your verified bank account |
| Neteller and Skrill | Yes | If you deposited with them |
| Visa or Mastercard | Deposit method | IUX lists cards for deposits |
Weekends and holidays don't stop IUX accepting requests, but banks and payment providers keep their own hours. IUX warns that money may take longer to reach you on non-business days, so plan large or urgent withdrawals ahead.
Withdrawing with open trades
You can withdraw while positions are open, but IUX limits the amount to 90% of your free margin, after deducting any credit, and never more than your balance. The formula it gives is (free margin minus credit) x 90%.
Taking money out lowers your margin level. If the market then moves against you, you reach the 40% margin call and the 20% stop out sooner. IUX's own recommendation is to close positions before withdrawing, or at least leave a healthy buffer.
You have $1,000 equity, $300 used margin and no credit, so free margin is $700. The most you can withdraw is $700 x 90% = $630. Withdrawing all of it would leave $370 equity against $300 margin: a margin level of about 123%.
Why an IUX withdrawal fails
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Verification incomplete | Finish POI, POA and POB |
| Receiving account in another name | Add a bank account in your own name |
| Different method from deposit | Withdraw back to the deposit method |
| Amount above the withdrawable limit | Check the withdrawable amount; close trades or withdraw less |
| EDD review outstanding | Withdrawals are capped at $10,000 until EDD is completed |
| Bank holiday or maintenance | Allow extra time; contact support with the request details |
IUX says there is no lock-in period: you can withdraw once you meet the security and verification rules, however recently you deposited.
LotBack points converted to balance become withdrawable, but if your balance is negative, IUX first uses them to offset it. Check the balance before converting points.
Tips for smooth withdrawals
- Verify your bank account the day you open your profile, not the day you need money.
- Make a small test withdrawal soon after your first deposit.
- Keep payment records and the confirmation emails IUX sends.
- Avoid withdrawing during volatile markets if you still have open positions.

Tracking your withdrawal
Every request appears in the client dashboard under History > Transaction. Choose a date range and filter by type and status. IUX uses three statuses: Pending means the request is being checked and processed, Accepted means it has been completed, and Rejected means it didn't go through, so review the details or contact support.
An Accepted withdrawal has left IUX. If the money hasn't reached your bank after that, the delay is on the banking side, which is common on weekends and public holidays. Keep the confirmation email IUX sends; your bank may ask for the amount and time when tracing a payment.
Local currency and amounts
You enter withdrawals in US dollars, and IUX converts the amount to your local currency at the rate at the time of the transaction. The figure that lands in your bank account will therefore move slightly with exchange rates. Withdraw only the withdrawable amount shown in the dashboard, which already allows for open positions.
IUX's withdrawal speed is one of its selling points, and the rules behind it are strict for a reason. Verify everything early, use one bank account in your own name for both directions, and most delays disappear.
Linh tried to withdraw $400 while holding two gold trades and was told the amount exceeded her withdrawable limit. She closed one trade, checked the withdrawable figure, and requested $350 instead. It reached her Vietnamese bank account within about 15 minutes.
