How to Open an IUX Account: Registration, Verification and First Trade
Opening an IUX account takes five steps: register, verify your identity, address and bank account, create a trading account, deposit and start trading. Here is each step, the country you must choose carefully and the mistakes that slow approval.
IUX's Help Center describes account opening as five steps: register and create your profile, verify your identity, address and bank details, add a trading account, deposit, and start trading. You can do it on the IUX website or in the IUX Trade App. If you only want to practise, you can open a demo account before verification and come back to the rest later.
One choice at the very start matters more than it looks. IUX says the country of residence you select when you click Open Account can't be changed later, and it decides which deposit and withdrawal methods you see.
| Where | Website or the IUX Trade App |
|---|---|
| Steps | Register, verify, add account, deposit, trade |
| Verification | Identity, address and bank account |
| Bank check | Usually reviewed in about 3 to 15 minutes |
| Demo first? | Yes, without verification |
| Served countries | 10 (see the regulation guide) |
Before you start
Check that IUX serves your country. Its Help Center lists 10: Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Laos, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Mexico and Colombia. It doesn't accept residents or citizens of Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Ukraine, the UK, the US or the EU, and takes no new Thai clients. Our IUX regulation guide covers which company you'll be dealing with.
Have three documents ready: a valid passport, national ID or driving licence from your country of nationality; a proof of address dated within the last three months, unless your ID shows your address; and a bank passbook page or bank statement showing your full name and account number.
Step 1: register
- Click Open Account on the IUX website or in the app.
- Select your country of residence; IUX says this can't be changed later.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions, then click Continue.
- Enter your email address, confirm it from the email IUX sends, and create a password.
- Create your profile with your personal details, exactly as they appear on your ID.
If the confirmation email doesn't arrive, check spam and junk folders first. IUX has a Help Center article on this, and support can resend it.
Step 2: verify your identity, address and bank
Verification starts with Start verification in the client area. You accept the terms, pick an identity document, scan it with your phone camera and complete a face scan, then upload proof of address, add a few personal details and finish a short Risk Profile questionnaire. After that, you add a bank account under Settings > Payment Methods with a document showing your name and account number. Our IUX verification guide has the document rules in full.
Your identity document must be issued by your country of nationality, and your bank document must come from a bank in that country, even if you live elsewhere.
Step 3: create a trading account
- Log in to the client dashboard.
- Open the Profile icon menu, then Trading Accounts.
- Click Create Account and choose Standard, Pro or Raw.
- Choose Create Real Account or Try Demo.
- Select your leverage and create a trading password.
- Confirm to finish.
The trading password is separate from your website password and is the one you use to log in to MetaTrader 5. Your MT5 server name is shown on the account card. See IUX account types if you are unsure which to choose.
Steps 4 and 5: deposit and trade
Deposit through the Wallet icon or the account card. The paying account must be in your name, and local money is converted to US dollars. Once funds arrive, you can trade in the client dashboard, the IUX Trade App or MT5. Our IUX minimum deposit guide lists methods and times, and IUX platforms explains how to log in to each.
Common mistakes that slow approval
| Mistake | What happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong country chosen | Can't be changed; wrong payment methods | Pick your real country of residence |
| ID close to expiry | Rejected if under 3 months' validity left | Use another valid document |
| Blurry or cropped photo | Rejected | Rescan in good light, all corners visible |
| Document from another country | Mismatch with registration | Use documents from your nationality |
| Bank account in another name | POB rejected; deposits blocked | Use your own account |
| Second profile with a new email | Flagged as a duplicate | Log in to the original profile |
IUX emails the reason for any rejection to your registered address, so check spam if you don't see it. You can also follow the status in the member area of the app.
Keep your account secure
Once your account is open, set up two-factor authentication and choose how you receive one-time passwords in the Settings menu. IUX's security page also lists device management and suspicious-login alerts. You can log in on several devices at the same time, but log out of any you no longer use.
Passwords and one-time codes
IUX uses three passwords. Your login password opens the website, client area and app. A separate trading password, set when you create each trading account, lets you place and close trades in MT5. You can also create an investor password, which gives view-only access to someone you trust, such as a mentor, without letting them trade.
IUX's password rules call for at least eight characters with upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. Use a different password for the website and the investor login. One-time codes for withdrawals and other sensitive actions go to your email by default; under Settings > OTP Verification you can switch to SMS or an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, which IUX recommends. Save the backup code the app shows, because without it a reset needs a support review.
The country field at the start of IUX's sign-up is the one you can't undo, so slow down there. Everything else, from documents to account type, can be fixed later; that choice decides your payment options for good.
Rohan registered with IUX on his phone, choosing India as his country. He scanned his passport, completed the face scan, uploaded a bank statement from the last month as proof of address, then added his bank passbook page. His bank details were approved within about 15 minutes, and he opened a Pro account the same evening.
