IUX Raw vs Pro.

IUX Raw vs Pro.

IUX keeps its account line-up short: Standard, Raw and Pro. Each comes as a live or demo account, all three use MetaTrader 5 and IUX's own platforms, and every one has the same 1:3000 maximum leverage, 40% margin call and 20% stop out. What changes is the minimum deposit and the way you pay for trading: through the spread, or through a raw spread plus commission.

Raw$2000.0 pips$7None (AUDUSD)
Pro$2000.1 pips$0A dot (AUDUSD.)

The rest is identical across the three. Each offers leverage up to 1:3000, a 40% margin call, a 20% stop out and a smallest trade of 0.01 lots.

Every account uses market execution, allows all trading styles according to IUX's comparison table, supports Expert Advisors and offers swap-free status under IUX's rules. Server locations are listed as London and Asia-Pacific.

Standard: the low-deposit account

Standard is the entry account. A $30 deposit opens it, and you pay no commission: IUX's cost is built into the spread, which starts at 0.2 pips. IUX's Help Center pitches it at general traders who want low costs and simple pricing, and notes that it skips bonuses to focus on a clean trading environment.

Because the starting spread is the widest of the three, Standard suits small balances, beginners and traders who place a handful of trades a week. You'll recognise its symbols in MT5 by the .iux suffix, such as EURUSD.iux.

Raw: zero spread plus commission

Raw is the account IUX labels most popular. Spreads start at 0.0 pips and IUX charges a fixed $7 commission per lot. The Help Center recommends it for scalpers, news traders and Expert Advisor users who want prices as close to the market as possible. A $200 deposit opens it.

With raw pricing, your cost per trade is easy to calculate: the spread at the moment you trade plus $7 for each standard lot. On a 0.1-lot trade the commission is $0.70. Raw symbols carry no suffix in MT5, so EURUSD appears as plain EURUSD.

Pro: tight spreads without commission

Pro also needs $200, but charges no commission, with spreads from 0.1 pips. IUX's Help Center describes it as the account for experienced traders looking for the lowest cost over the long term, with zero commission "subject to terms and conditions". In MT5 its symbols end with a single dot, such as EURUSD.

Pro sits between the other two: tighter than Standard, simpler than Raw. For swing traders who hold positions for days, avoiding a commission on every trade can matter more than a fraction of a pip.

IUX's own advice is short: scalpers should pick Raw, and longer-term traders Standard or Pro, to save on commission over several days. Remember that holding trades for days can affect your swap-free status; our IUX swap-free guide explains the rules.

How many accounts you can open

IUX's Help Center gives two versions of this rule. One article says you can hold up to three live and three demo accounts under one profile, counted separately. A newer note in the account-creation article says the limit is three accounts per account type, for real and demo accounts independently. Either way, you can open more than one account of the same type, and you'll need to remove an unused account if you hit the cap.

Accounts with no activity for more than 15 days and a balance under $1 are archived automatically. You can reactivate an archived account for up to 90 days; after that it is deleted for good.

A new account opened with the same name, email and phone as your verified profile is verified automatically, so you don't upload documents again.

Moving money between accounts

Internal transfers between your own accounts are instant. Moving funds from Standard to Raw or Pro needs at least $200 per transfer, while transfers between Raw and Pro, or between two accounts of the same type, have no minimum. With open trades, you can move out up to 90% of available equity. See IUX minimum deposit for funding rules.

Closing or archiving an account

To close a live account, IUX requires a zero balance, so withdraw the money or move it to another of your accounts first. A closed live account can't be reopened. Demo accounts can be deleted at any time and replaced with a new one. Archiving is gentler: it hides an account, cancels its pending orders and keeps it restorable for a set period, but IUX won't archive an account with open trades or unfinished deposits and withdrawals.

IUX's three accounts share the same leverage, stop out and platforms, so the decision is purely about cost. Work out your monthly lots: if you trade a lot, Raw's commission model is usually cheaper; if you trade rarely, Standard or Pro keep things simple.

Illustrative case: Maria, 26, Manila

Maria opened a $30 Standard account to learn MT5. After two months of mostly short trades on EURUSD she opened a Raw account with $200. She found the $7 commission plus a near-zero spread cheaper per lot than the Standard spread she had been paying.
