Fusion+ copy trading costs.

Fusion+ is Fusion Markets' own copy trading service. A master account places trades and they are copied automatically to follower accounts that have accepted an invitation. The service is free as long as the account trades at least 2.5 lots of forex or metals in a 30-day period. Below that volume, Fusion charges $10 a month to cover hosting.

Two other routes exist. DupliTrade is an outside company whose selected strategy providers can be copied into a Fusion MT4 account. For professional money managers, Fusion also runs a multi-account manager, usually shortened to MAM. Each serves a different kind of client.

How Fusion+ works

  1. A trader applies in the Client Hub to become a Fusion+ master.
  2. The master chooses copier settings and creates a link or sends an email invitation.
  3. A follower signs up, or links an existing Fusion account, and accepts the terms.
  4. The master enables that follower account for copying.
  5. Trades placed on the master account are then repeated on the follower account.

Copied trades are easy to spot. In MetaTrader's Comments column they carry the label Fusionplus, and the Client Hub has a Fusion+ menu with a Trades view. Fusion recommends opening a new, separate account for copying so that your own trading history and the copied trades don't get mixed together.

Trades are copied only between Fusion clients. A master can't send trades to an account at another broker, and a follower can't pull signals in from outside through Fusion+.

What Fusion+ costs

ItemAmountWho pays
Service fee$0 with 2.5 lots or more of FX and metals in 30 daysMaster and follower accounts
Low-volume fee$10 a month below that volumeThe account that falls short
Performance fee0% to 30% of net equity gainFollower, to the master
Costs of each tradeNormal spread, commission and swapEach account on its own trades

The 2.5-lot threshold applies to both sides. A follower copying small sizes may not reach it, and $10 a month is a heavy drag on a $200 account: 5% of the balance each month before any trade is placed. Work that out before you join with a small sum.

Fusion pays no commission rebates on Fusion+ accounts. The FAQ says this is meant to discourage churning, where a manager trades more than necessary to earn volume-based income at the follower's expense.

Control and how to stop

A follower can remove a copier at any time. One catch: trades that are already open stay open, and the master can no longer close them for you. You have to close those positions yourself. If the master switches off the copier first, the same applies, so the two sides should coordinate.

To leave the service altogether, contact support and they cancel Fusion+ on your account. No demo or trial is offered, because each Fusion+ account is hosted individually. Your first test has to be with real money, which is a good reason to make it a small amount.

Past results don't predict future ones. A master with a strong six months can lose the lot in the seventh, and your copied account will follow it down.

DupliTrade

DupliTrade is a separate company registered in the British Virgin Islands. It selects a small number of strategy providers and lets you duplicate their trades into your Fusion MT4 account. You register with DupliTrade, accept its fees and terms, link your Fusion account, choose strategies and set your risk level.

Fusion states plainly that some of the content on its DupliTrade page was supplied by DupliTrade and that it can't always verify its accuracy. A sign-up is not a recommendation from the broker. Treat the track records shown there as marketing until you have checked them yourself.

MAM for money managers

The multi-account manager is built for traders who run several client accounts from one master terminal. Fusion's FAQ sets entry conditions: each client sub-account needs at least $5,000, a manager needs three funded sub-accounts, and a three-month track record is expected. That puts it out of reach for casual use.

Risks to weigh first

  • You carry all the losses. Nobody guarantees a copied account.
  • Performance fees are charged on gains, which can reward a manager for taking big risks.
  • Lot sizes that suit the master's balance may be too large for yours.
  • Slippage means your fills can differ slightly from the master's.
  • Anyone promising fixed monthly returns is describing something that doesn't exist in trading.

Fusion+ needs an invitation, so most people join through someone they know or someone who approached them. Be wary of the second kind. Fusion's support team doesn't use Telegram or WhatsApp, as our customer support guide explains, and account managers who appear there are not from the broker.

Ask a master for read-only access to at least six months of trading history, and look at the worst drawdown before you look at the profit.

Copied trades pay normal costs, so the Fusion Markets fees guide applies in full. Followers should also read the stop out guide, since a master's oversized position can trigger liquidation in a smaller account.

Questions to ask a master trader

  • How long have you traded this method with real money?
  • What was your largest drawdown, and how long did recovery take?
  • Do you place a stop loss on every trade?
  • Which lot size do you use per $1,000 of balance?
  • Will you add to losing positions, as grid and martingale systems do?
  • Why did you set the performance fee at this level?

Vague answers are a warning. A serious trader knows their drawdown to the percentage point and can explain the worst month without excuses. Someone who talks only about winning weeks hasn't shown you the part that decides whether your account survives.

Scale is the other check. If the master trades 1 lot on a $20,000 account and your account holds $500, a straight copy would be forty times too large for you. Ask how the copier settings scale positions, and confirm the first few copied trades match the size you agreed.

Put the agreement in writing, even between relatives: the fee, the maximum drawdown at which copying stops, and who closes open trades if either side ends it.

Copy trading moves the decision from which trade to take to which person to trust, and that second decision is harder. With Fusion+ I'd start in a separate account, with money I could lose, and judge the trader over months.

Illustrative case: Farid, 38, Chattogram

Farid's cousin invited him to follow his Fusion+ master account with a 20% performance fee. Farid opened a new MT5 account with $400 and copied at a reduced size. After the first month he had traded only 0.9 lots and was charged the $10 hosting fee, which pushed him to weigh the cost against his small balance.

Frequently asked

Does Fusion Markets offer copy trading?

Yes. Fusion+ is its own service for MT4 and MT5 accounts. Clients can also use the third-party DupliTrade platform on MT4, and professional managers can apply for a multi-account manager.

How much does Fusion+ cost?

It is free if the account trades at least 2.5 lots of forex and metals in 30 days. Otherwise a $10 monthly fee covers hosting. Masters may charge a performance fee of up to 30% of net equity gain.
