All-in cost of one lot of EUR/USD.

Costs at Fusion Markets come in three parts: the spread, a commission on the Zero account, and overnight financing on positions you hold past the daily rollover. Deposits and withdrawals are free at the broker's end. A few smaller charges sit in the background, such as a $10 monthly fee on low-volume copy trading accounts.

Fusion's Zero account charges $2.25 per side per lot on forex, with raw spreads from 0.0 pips. Classic has no commission and spreads from 0.9 pips. Crypto and index CFDs carry no commission on either account.

Those numbers are from Fusion's product pages and reflect raw Zero pricing. Forex is in pips, while indices and crypto are in price points. The trading conditions page states that its averages were measured from 1 to 5 June 2026, so treat them as a snapshot. Spreads widen at the daily rollover, around major news and when markets are thin.

Fusion also publishes a spreads tool showing the minimum, maximum and average for every instrument over the past month. Look at the maximum column before you trade news. An average of 0.01 pips tells you little about the five minutes after a central bank decision.

On cTrader and TradingView the fee is calculated on notional volume instead: $2.25 per $100,000 traded per side, in the base currency of the pair. One lot of EUR/USD therefore costs 2.25 euros per side. Our Fusion Markets Zero account guide works through the examples.

Zero or Classic: the all-in cost

Add spread and commission together to compare fairly. On one lot of EUR/USD, Zero comes to about 0.46 pips, or $4.60. Classic is close to 0.92 pips, or $9.20, based on the figure in Fusion's FAQ. Over 20 lots a month that is $92 against $184.

Small accounts feel the difference less. Someone trading 0.01 lots pays 5 cents on Zero and 9 cents on Classic. At that size, pick whichever account you find easier to read.

Swaps and overnight financing

Hold a position past the rollover and a swap is charged or credited. Fusion's server runs on GMT+2 or GMT+3, and the rollover falls at 00:00 server time, which is 17:00 in New York. Rates come from the broker's liquidity providers and change with market conditions; the FAQ says Fusion doesn't control them.

You can see the current long and short swap for any symbol in your platform's specification window. Check it before a multi-day trade. A position that pays a small swap each night for three weeks can turn a marginal winner into a loser.

Muslim traders can ask for the swap-free account, where an admin fee replaces the swap after seven days. Details are in the Fusion Markets Islamic account guide.

The inactivity charge comes from the client services agreement of the Seychelles company, dated 30 April 2025. It is small, and the public FAQ doesn't repeat it, so read the agreement that applies to your own account. Separately, empty accounts unused for 90 days are archived.

Bank fees on an international wire belong to the banks, not to Fusion. The FAQ puts them at $20 to $30 for a typical transfer.

Ways to pay less

  • Use Zero once you trade more than a few standard lots a month.
  • Avoid opening trades in the minutes around the 17:00 New York rollover.
  • Fund and withdraw through e-wallets or local bank methods instead of wires.
  • Keep your account currency the same as your deposit currency.
  • Refer a friend if you already trade there: Fusion offers up to 15% lower commission as one of the reward options.

High-volume clients can be invited to the Premium Program, where commission rebates start from 15.11%. It is by invitation only. Leverage does not change your fees directly, but larger positions mean larger commission and swap in dollars, as our leverage guide explains.

Work out your cost per trade as a share of your target. If a trade aims for 5 pips and costs 0.5 pips, a tenth of the profit goes on fees before the market moves.

A month of trading, priced

Numbers per lot are easier to judge when added up. Take three traders on EUR/USD, using the averages on Fusion's product pages and the Classic figure from its FAQ.

TraderMonthly volumeCost on ZeroCost on Classic
Beginner, 30 trades at 0.01 lots0.3 lotsAbout $1.40About $2.80
Part-timer, 40 trades at 0.10 lots4 lotsAbout $18About $37
Active, 100 trades at 0.50 lots50 lotsAbout $230About $460

Swaps come on top for anything held overnight, and they are the same on both accounts. For the beginner the monthly saving on Zero is the price of a snack. The active trader saves $230, which over a year exceeds what many people deposit in the first place.

Costs that don't show on a fee page

Slippage is the first. In a fast market your order can fill a little away from the price you clicked, in either direction. Fusion describes its model as market execution with no dealing desk and quotes an average execution time of 37 milliseconds, a figure dated August 2023, but no broker can promise the exact price during a news spike.

Currency conversion is the second. If your account is in dollars and your bank account isn't, the payment provider's exchange rate takes a cut each time money moves. Fusion offers fourteen base currencies, which lets many traders avoid the problem entirely.

Third comes the cost of trading too often. Low fees per trade make it tempting to take marginal setups. A hundred unnecessary trades at 0.10 lots still cost $46 on Zero, and that is before counting the losses on trades that should never have been placed.

Put together, these hidden items can outweigh the visible ones for an occasional trader. Someone who places five trades a month and wires money in and out twice pays more to banks and currency desks than to the broker.

Fusion's headline costs are low and, from what I see on the product pages, the averages back it up. The fee people forget is the swap. For anything held longer than a few days, check the swap rate first.

Illustrative case: Rahul, 35, Colombo

Rahul traded about 15 lots of EUR/USD a month on Classic and paid close to $138 in spread. He priced the same volume on Zero at roughly $69 and emailed support to switch. His withdrawals also moved from bank wire to Skrill, which stopped a $25 bank deduction on each payout.
