Exness Trade App: Trading, Funding, Security and Limits
Exness Trade is Exness's mobile app for iOS and Android. It trades MT5 accounts, handles deposits and withdrawals, adds TradingView charts and live chat, and can confirm security actions by push notification. Here is what it does and what it can't.
Exness Trade is Exness's own trading app for Android and iOS. According to Exness, you can use it to manage your Exness accounts, trade MT5-based accounts, make deposits, withdrawals and transfers, chat with support and read economic news. It also works as a security tool: Exness's push-notification security type sends account confirmations to the app. What it doesn't do is run Expert Advisors or custom indicators.
For many clients it replaces the Personal Area on mobile. Its limits matter too, because they decide which kind of account you should open.

Charts and indicators
The app offers two chart types. Its default Exness chart has a short list of built-in indicators, including Moving Average, Bollinger Bands and Parabolic SAR, and can also show trading signals and HMR periods. Switching to a TradingView chart, under Profile, the gear icon, then Trading terminal, adds more than 50 indicators, including MACD, RSI, Ichimoku Cloud and Stochastic RSI. Custom indicators can't be installed in the app.
Trading MT4 accounts on mobile
Exness Trade trades MT5 accounts only. If your account is MT4-based, use the MetaTrader 4 mobile app to trade it, and Exness Trade to manage funding. Because an Exness account's platform can't be changed, a trader who wants to do everything in one app should open an MT5 account. Our Exness platforms guide explains the account rules.
Security: push notifications and codes
Exness confirms sensitive actions, such as changing passwords, changing your security type and withdrawing, with a code or approval. Its security types are email (the default), SMS, an authentication app, and push notifications, which need Exness Trade. Push approval is quick and avoids codes being intercepted.
- Never share a verification code, even with someone claiming to be Exness support; Exness says support never asks for passwords.
- Don't approve an action you didn't start; an unexpected code usually means someone else triggered it.
- Install the app only from the official store listing; Exness warns about fake apps and 'free premium' ads that spread malware.
- If you change your security type using a face scan, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours.
A verification code works like your signature. Exness's support team uses a separate Support PIN to verify you, never your codes or passwords.
Funding from the app
Deposits, withdrawals and transfers between your accounts all run from the app. Exness says it charges no deposit or withdrawal processing fees, though some payment providers and banks may. Payment methods depend on your region and verification status. Our Exness withdrawal guide covers the rules.

Getting started with Exness Trade
- Download Exness Trade from the App Store or Google Play, checking that the publisher is Exness.
- Log in with your Personal Area email and password, or register a new profile.
- Complete verification if you haven't already, so deposits and withdrawals aren't limited.
- Open an MT5 account, or select an existing one, from the Accounts tab.
- Deposit and place your first trade from the instrument screen.
The Accounts tab
When you log in, Exness Trade opens on the Accounts tab, which lists every trading account in your Personal Area. Each account card shows its balance, equity, floating profit or loss, margin, free margin, margin level and leverage. Settings show the account type, number, nickname, spread, leverage and MT4 or MT5 login details, with options to change the trading password.
You switch accounts through the three-dot menu, where real and demo accounts sit under separate tabs, and you archive an account by swiping left on it. Exness notes that some functions for MT4 accounts, such as live rates, charts and price alerts, may be unavailable in the app, and recommends an MT5 account to use them.
Order modes
Three order modes are available: regular mode, which asks for confirmation; one-click mode, which sends the order immediately; and a risk calculator mode, which helps set the size from the amount you are prepared to lose. You set the default in the chart preferences. One-click is fast but unforgiving, so many traders keep regular mode or the risk calculator as their default.
Exness Trade is also your security key if you choose push notifications. Treat every unexpected approval request as a warning sign, and never read a code out to anyone.
Siti received a call from someone claiming to be Exness support, asking her to read out the code that had just arrived. She hung up, checked the app, saw a withdrawal request she hadn't made, and changed her passwords and security type to push notifications. Exness's guidance that support never asks for codes saved her balance.
