How Exness Rewards turns spread into cashback.

How Exness Rewards turns spread into cashback.

Exness Rewards is Exness's loyalty programme. According to its Help Center, you earn Exness Dollars (EXD) when you trade, based on a personalised percentage of the spread you pay, and convert them into withdrawable cashback by trading again. One EXD equals one US dollar. The more EXD you earn in a 30-day period, the higher your tier and the more benefits you unlock. Only selected clients can join; your Personal Area shows if you have access.

Exness doesn't offer welcome or deposit bonuses, so Rewards is its main way of giving active traders something back. It's worth understanding how the conversion works before treating EXD as money.

How you earn EXD

Each trade you close earns EXD, calculated as a percentage of the spread you paid. Exness says your earning rate is personalised and may change from day to day, and EXD is credited the day after the trade closes. There's no fixed volume or lot requirement; the amount depends on your rate, the spread and any commission on your account.

Turning EXD into cashback

EXD isn't withdrawable on its own. When you have EXD in your trading account and place a trade, you pay the usual spread or commission, and then up to 50% of those trading costs are deducted from your EXD balance and converted into withdrawable cashback. In effect, EXD lowers the cost of your next trades, up to half of what you pay, and that saving becomes real money.

StepWhat happens
1. TradeYou pay the normal spread or commission
2. EarnEXD credited the next day, as a % of the spread
3. Trade againUp to 50% of the new trading costs come out of your EXD
4. CashbackThat converted amount becomes withdrawable

Tiers, upgrades and downgrades

Your tier depends on how much EXD you earn within a 30-day period, plus a minimum number of lifetime trading days for higher tiers. Exness evaluates tiers daily and upgrades you automatically once you meet the criteria. To keep a tier, you need to earn the same EXD amount required to reach it within every 30-day period; if you don't, you move down one tier at a time.

Benefits at higher tiers

  • EXD boosters, which raise the rate at which you earn EXD.
  • Market insights.
  • Priority support.
  • Dedicated account managers.
  • Further benefits listed in your Personal Area.

Exness confirms it offers no welcome, deposit or trading bonuses, only its partner programmes. Our Exness promotions page covers what Exness does offer.

Rewards is a discount on trading you'd do anyway. Trading more to climb tiers usually costs more in spreads and losses than the cashback returns.

If you don't see Rewards

Exness says the programme is currently available to selected clients only, and that if it isn't available to you, you still get its standard trading conditions. There is no published way to apply; check the Exness benefits section of your Personal Area from time to time.

Is Exness Rewards worth it?

For active traders who have access, yes: it returns part of the spread on trades they'd place anyway, as withdrawable cashback. Occasional traders see small amounts. Either way, the cheapest route is still choosing the right account and trading in liquid hours. Our Exness fees guide covers the costs Rewards offsets.

How the 30-day period works

Your 30-day period starts on the day you join Exness Rewards and is personal to you; it doesn't follow calendar months. If you move up a tier before the 30 days end, the period resets and a new one starts from the upgrade date. Exness's example: join on 1 January and the period runs from 1 to 30 January; upgrade on 10 January and a new 30-day period starts that day.

That reset matters for tier maintenance. After an upgrade, you need to earn the EXD amount for your new tier within the fresh 30 days to keep it.

A worked example

Suppose you have 10 EXD in your account from earlier trades. You open a new position and pay $8 in spread. Up to 50% of that cost, here $4, is deducted from your EXD balance and converted into withdrawable cashback, leaving 6 EXD. Your effective cost on the trade falls to $4. The next day, that trade also earns fresh EXD at your personal rate.

The figures are illustrative; your rate is personalised and may change daily.

Tracking your EXD

  • Check your EXD balance and tier in the Exness benefits section of the Personal Area.
  • Note the start date of your 30-day period, and the new date after any upgrade.
  • Compare cashback received with your total trading costs each month, so you see the true discount.
EXD is worth exactly what it saves you on your next trades, up to half the cost. Treat it as a rebate, track it in your statements, and never let a tier target decide how much you trade.

Illustrative case: Lina, 33, Ho Chi Minh City

Lina found Exness Rewards in her Personal Area after a few months of trading gold. She earned EXD each day after closing trades, and when she traded the next week, part of her spread came out of her EXD balance as cashback. Now she treats the cashback as a cost reduction and still sizes every trade from her stop loss.
