Tickmill Welcome Account: How the $30 No-Deposit Offer Works
Tickmill Ltd credits $30 to a Welcome Account so new clients can trade live without depositing. You can't withdraw the $30, and profits can be kept only within limits after a real deposit. Here are the conditions, who can apply and how to use it well.
The Welcome Account is Tickmill's no-deposit offer. A new client registers on the promotion page and receives a trading account credited with $30. Tickmill presents it as a way to experience its trading environment without risking your own money. The offer comes from Tickmill Ltd, the Seychelles company, and isn't available to residents of the European Union.

That $30 is trading credit, not cash. It can't be withdrawn. What you may be able to keep is profit: under the terms we checked for our Tickmill review, profit between $30 and $100 can be moved to a live wallet after you open a live account and deposit at least $100. The account runs for a limited period, and expert advisors are not allowed on it.

Promotion terms change, and the terms and conditions on Tickmill's Welcome Account page are the only version that binds you. Read them on the day you apply. The table reflects what we recorded when writing our review, and the registration form confirms two points directly: one Welcome Account per client, and a minimum age of 18.
Who can get one
Its registration form has a country selector, and only the countries listed there can apply. When we checked, the list included Malaysia, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Nepal, Laos, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Cameroon and Senegal, among many others. Several large retail markets were absent from it.
Open the form and look for your country before planning around the offer. If it isn't in the selector, the Welcome Account isn't available to you, and the free demo account is the alternative. The form also accepts Latin characters only, and it rejects a second application from the same person.
How the profit rule works
Three outcomes are possible at the end of the Welcome Account. You lose the $30, in which case nothing is owed and nothing is gained. Your profit ends below the minimum and can't be transferred. Or you make a qualifying profit, which you can move to a live wallet once you have deposited.

| Result on the Welcome Account | What you can keep |
|---|---|
| Loss of the $30 | Nothing; no debt either |
| Profit of $12 | Nothing; below the $30 minimum |
| Profit of $45 | $45, after a $100 live deposit |
| Profit of $100 | $100, after a $100 live deposit |
| Profit of $260 | $100, the maximum |
Those rows apply the $30 to $100 range from the terms we recorded. Notice what the cap does to incentives. To turn $30 into $100 you must more than triple the account, which pushes people towards very large positions. That is poor practice for real trading, and it is the opposite of what a trial account should teach.
The Welcome Account rewards risk-taking you should never repeat with your own money. Use it to test execution and platforms, not to learn position sizing.
What it is good for
- A look at Tickmill's live spreads and fills without depositing.
- The pressure of a real position, which a demo can't give you.
- Proof that the platform, login and order types work on your device.
- Evidence for deciding whether to open a funded account with this broker.
Treat any profit as a bonus. A small account with a short clock is mostly luck, and a good result on it tells you little about your skill. The value lies in a first-hand look at the broker before your own money is involved.

How to apply
- Open the Welcome Account page on Tickmill's site.
- Read the terms and conditions linked there.
- Select your country and enter your name, email and phone number.
- Accept the terms and submit the form.
- Check your email for the login details and instructions.
- Log in to the platform and confirm the $30 balance.
A confirmation message says the account has been created and that login details will follow by email. If the form tells you that you have already registered, you can't open a second one.
How profit moves to a live account
- Finish trading on the Welcome Account with a profit inside the allowed range.
- Open a live account in the Client Area, as our Tickmill account opening guide describes.
- Verify your identity fully.
- Deposit at least $100 into the live wallet.
- Request the transfer of the profit as the terms set out.
Verification matters here. A profit transfer is a payment, and Tickmill applies the same identity checks as for any other. Have your documents approved before the Welcome Account's period ends so the request isn't held up.
Once the profit is in your live wallet, normal withdrawal rules apply: a minimum of 25, no fee from Tickmill, and money returned to the method you deposited with. See our Tickmill withdrawal guide.
A sensible way to trade it
Thirty dollars at high leverage can open positions that last seconds. Resist that. Trade 0.01 lots, where a pip on EUR/USD is worth about 10 cents, and use a stop on every order. At that size a 30-pip loss costs $3, a tenth of the account, which is still far more risk than you should take on a real balance.
If the plan produces a small profit under $30, accept it and move on. The lesson you paid nothing for is how the platform behaves. When you fund a live account, start again with proper sizing, as the Tickmill minimum deposit guide explains.
No-deposit offers are restricted by regulators such as the FCA and CySEC, which is why this one is run by the Seychelles company and closed to EU residents.
Screenshot the terms and conditions on the day you register. If a dispute arises over a profit transfer, you will know exactly which version applied.
Keep expectations plain. Most Welcome Accounts end at a loss or with a profit too small to transfer, because $30 leaves no room for normal sizing. Go in for the experience and anything more is a pleasant surprise.
I like the Welcome Account as a test drive and distrust it as a way to make money. Thirty dollars and a deadline encourage exactly the gambling habits that sink new traders. Take the free look at execution and ignore the profit target.
Nurul found Malaysia in the country selector and opened a Welcome Account. She traded 0.01 lots for three weeks and finished $9 up, below the transferable minimum. By then the MT5 app was familiar and she had seen live fills, so she opened a Raw account with $150 and treated the $9 as a lesson that cost nothing.
