FXTM Bonus: Welcome Offers, FXTM Rewards Points and the Conditions
FXTM runs two welcome offers that match your first deposit up to $500, one in Reward Points and one in trading credit, plus the FXTM Rewards loyalty programme, where 500 points equal $1. Here is how each works, the conditions and what you can withdraw.
FXTM's promotions sit inside its loyalty programme, FXTM Rewards. New clients may see one of two welcome offers, each matching the first deposit up to $500: a Welcome Bonus paid in Reward Points, or a Welcome Trading Credit added to the account. FXTM says it runs these 'from time to time', so check which is live before your first deposit. Its homepage, when we checked, advertised a 100% trading credit match up to $500.
| Welcome Bonus code | HELLOFXTM, Reward Points up to $500 |
|---|---|
| Welcome Trading Credit code | FXTM500, credit up to $500 |
| Who | New clients before their first deposit |
| Time limit | 30 days from first deposit |
| Reward Points value | 500 points = $1 |
| Point expiry | 3 months after earning |
Welcome Trading Credit (FXTM500)
With this offer, FXTM adds a 100% trading credit on your first deposit, up to $500. Enter the code FXTM500 under 'Got a promo code?' at the bottom of the Funds page when you make your first deposit. The credit increases your available margin, but it isn't your money.
- Credit lasts 30 days from the first deposit, then expires.
- Making a withdrawal during those 30 days removes the credit.
- The credit itself can't be withdrawn; profits from trading can.
- It applies to the first deposit only, on specific live account types; managed accounts are excluded.
- Internal transfers between accounts don't count as deposits.
Trading credit raises your margin, so it can let you open bigger trades than your own money supports. If the credit disappears after 30 days or a withdrawal, your margin level falls at once.
Welcome Bonus in Reward Points (HELLOFXTM)
The other version matches your first deposit, up to $500, in Reward Points that you unlock by trading. Use the code HELLOFXTM on your first deposit. Every 2,000 Tier Points you trade unlocks 25,000 Reward Points, worth $50 at 500 points per dollar. Trading 20,000 Tier Points within 30 days unlocks the maximum 250,000 Reward Points, equal to $500.
Because the bonus is earned through trading, it works more like a volume rebate than free money. Use FXTM's Tier Point calculator in the app or web account to see how much volume a given instrument needs.
How FXTM Rewards works
FXTM Rewards is a loyalty programme for live accounts. You must activate it yourself: log in, go to Hub > Loyalty & Bonuses and tap Activate loyalty. Each qualifying trade then earns Tier Points, which move you up the tiers, and, from Bronze tier, Reward Points, which you redeem for cash. Points are awarded twice per trade, when you open and when you close.
| Tier order | What it brings |
|---|---|
| Entry | Tier Points only; Reward Points start at Bronze |
| Bronze, Silver | Reward Points at rising multipliers |
| Gold | Higher multiplier plus the higher-tier swap-free option |
| VIP, VIP Expert, VIP Master | Top multipliers, VIP perks and the higher-tier swap-free option |
Reward Points equal Tier Points times your tier multiplier. Rewards Plus earns up to 3X, Rewards up to 2X and Advantage the standard rate. Tier Points reset every 12 months, and Reward Points expire three months after you earn them.
Redeeming points
- Open the FXTM app or web account and go to Hub > Loyalty & Bonuses > Rewards.
- Choose Redeem, then Cash.
- Enter the points to exchange and check the dollar value (500 points = $1).
- Pick the trading account and confirm the transfer.
FXTM says redeemed cash is credited instantly and can be traded or withdrawn.
Other ways to earn points
Other earning routes include Boost promotions that multiply points or add extra points per lot, trading competitions, deposit bonuses, birthday bonuses and quests. Refer-a-friend can earn you up to 50,000 Reward Points when a friend reaches 20,000 Tier Points. Higher tiers also unlock longer swap-free periods; see FXTM swap-free.
Should you take an FXTM bonus?
For an active trader, the points version adds real value, because it pays cash for volume you'd trade anyway. The trading credit suits fewer people: it inflates margin, vanishes after 30 days or on any withdrawal, and can tempt you into oversized trades. Either way, read the full terms before entering a code, and check our FXTM account types guide for which accounts earn points.
FXTM's Help Centre describes rewards on 'Advantage and Advantage Plus' in one article, older account names, while its accounts page lists Rewards Plus, Rewards and Advantage. Confirm eligibility in your dashboard.
Mistakes that cost you the bonus
- Entering the code after your first deposit; it must be used during the first deposit.
- Funding the account by internal transfer, which FXTM doesn't count as a deposit.
- Forgetting to activate loyalty in the Hub, so no points are earned.
- Letting Reward Points sit for more than three months, after which they expire.
- Withdrawing during the 30-day trading credit period, which removes the credit.
Most of these are easy to avoid if you set a reminder for the 30-day deadline and redeem points as you go. Check the promotion terms in your account before entering any code, since FXTM can change or end offers.
Think about how each offer behaves when you withdraw. Redeemed Reward Points become cash in your trading account that you can trade or withdraw. Trading credit is different: it only supports your margin, disappears if you withdraw during the 30 days, and when it goes your margin level drops straight away, which can bring open trades closer to a stop out.
FXTM's bonuses reward trading volume, not deposits. The points match is worth it only if you were going to trade that much anyway; never increase your size just to chase a bonus deadline.
Zara entered HELLOFXTM on her first $200 deposit into a Rewards Plus account. Over 30 days her normal trading earned enough Tier Points to unlock part of the match, which she redeemed as cash in the app before the points could expire.
