IC Markets' move to the IC brand and ic.com in 2026.

IC Markets has rebranded as IC. On 11 July 2026 its global website moved from icmarkets.com to ic.com, and IC announced four days later that the move was complete. According to that announcement, clients keep the same accounts, platforms, products and support, "with no changes to how they trade or interact with IC". The licensed companies behind the brand haven't changed either.

For most clients the practical changes are small: a new web address, new email addresses ending in @ic.com, and a refreshed look. The bigger risk is confusion, which scammers are quick to exploit.

What changed

  • Name: simply IC. Its global company's legal notice reads: IC and IC Markets Global are the trading names of Raw Trading Ltd.
  • Website: ic.com for the global company. Old icmarkets.com addresses redirect there.
  • Email addresses: support, accounts and client relations now use @ic.com addresses.
  • Look: a refreshed visual identity arrived earlier in 2026, and IC says further brand updates will follow.

What stayed the same

IC's announcement says the products, services and trading experience remain exactly the same. In practice that means your login details, trading accounts, balances, platforms, account types, spreads, commissions and leverage all carried over without any action from you.

The licences are unchanged too: Raw Trading Ltd in Seychelles (SD018), International Capital Markets Pty Ltd in Australia (ASIC), IC Markets (EU) Ltd in Cyprus (CySEC), and the Bahamas and Kenya companies. Our regulation guide covers each one.

Do you need to do anything?

  1. Update your bookmarks to ic.com and log in to the Client Area from there.
  2. Add the new @ic.com addresses to your email contacts so IC's messages don't land in spam.
  3. Check that deposits and withdrawals work as normal with a small transaction if you're unsure.
  4. Leave your trading platform alone: MetaTrader, cTrader and TradingView logins carry on as before.

Other IC websites

The move to ic.com concerns the global website of Raw Trading Ltd. IC's regional companies keep their own sites: icmarkets.com.au for the Australian company and icmarkets.eu for the EU company, among others. Clients of those companies should keep using their own company's website and contacts.

Watch out for rebrand scams

A rebrand is a gift to fraudsters. Clone sites, fake apps and messages claiming you must "migrate" or "re-verify" your account to keep trading are common tricks around brand changes. IC's announcement didn't ask clients to move money or re-register.

Never follow a link in an unexpected email or message to log in, and never send money to a new account because someone says the broker has changed. Type ic.com yourself, and check suspicious names against our scam broker list.

There is also a regulatory footnote. The UK Financial Conduct Authority updated its Warning List entry on IC Markets Global on 10 August 2026 to name ic.com, saying the firm is not authorised in the UK. That entry concerns UK permission, not fraud, but UK residents should read it before opening an account.

Why brands like IC shorten their names

IC describes the change as part of building a unified global brand. It has paired the new name with sponsorships, including its role as the TGR Haas F1 Team's official FX trading partner and a multi-year partnership with BLAST in esports, and with appearances at industry events such as Forex Expo Dubai. None of that changes your account, but it explains why you'll see "IC" rather than "IC Markets" in adverts from now on. Our IC Markets review is being updated to reflect the new name.

How to check you're on the real IC site

  1. Type ic.com into your browser yourself rather than clicking links in emails, texts or social media.
  2. Scroll to the footer: the global site names Raw Trading Ltd and its Seychelles FSA licence, SD018.
  3. Check that emails come from an @ic.com address, and treat urgent requests for money or passwords as suspect.
  4. Install apps only from IC's official store listings, reached from ic.com.
  5. Confirm the licence yourself on the FSA Seychelles list of regulated entities.

Most traders still search for "IC Markets", and the old name appears in years of reviews, forums and account paperwork, so we use both names in our guides. Where we describe the company's current website, contacts or legal notices, we use IC, because that is what you will see when you log in.

IC is also the Official FX Trading Partner of the TGR Haas F1 Team, which it calls its largest and most visible global motorsport partnership to date. The sponsorships explain the new name's visibility; they don't change anything about how your account works.

A new name doesn't change the company, the licence or your agreement. What it changes is how easily someone can pretend to be the broker. Type the address yourself and treat any urgent 'migration' request as a scam until IC confirms it in your Client Area.

Daniela received a message in July telling her that IC Markets was closing and that she had to re-verify her account on a new site within 48 hours. The site looked like IC's.
