FundedNext is one of the larger prop firms by number of traders, offering CFD challenges on MetaTrader-style platforms and a separate futures program. Its trading is simulated: FundedNext says trading on its platform is carried out with virtual funds in a simulated environment, and that it is “not a broker, dealer, exchange, or investment advisor”. The contracting company named on its site is FundedNext Ltd, registered in the Comoros.

The daily loss limit counts realised and unrealised profit and loss, swaps and commission, and resets at midnight server time. Static maximum losses are set from the starting balance; Instant’s trailing limit rises with profit, never falls, and stops once it reaches the initial balance. A 60-day inactivity rule applies to every CFD account: no trade in 60 consecutive days and the account is deactivated.

Rewards

  • Reward share: 80 per cent as standard, up to 90 per cent through scaling, and up to 95 per cent with an optional paid add-on.
  • A 15 per cent share of profit made during the challenge phase on the 1-Step and 2-Step, paid after the first scale-up. Lite and Instant do not include it.
  • On the 2-Step, the first reward cycle is 21 days, then every 14 days.
  • FundedNext says 99.99 per cent of rewards are processed within 24 hours.

Futures

FundedNext Futures runs three models: Flex, from $74.99, with no daily loss limit and a 95 per cent share; Rapid, with a 90 per cent share; and Direct, a funded account with no target, a 90 per cent share and a 20 per cent consistency rule across withdrawals. The maximum loss on all of them trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks at the initial balance. See the best-known futures prop firms for how they compare.

Our view

  • Strengths: low entry prices, a refundable 2-Step fee, static drawdowns on the evaluation routes, no time limits, a challenge-phase reward, and published rules for every model.
  • Weaknesses: a standard share of 80 per cent with the higher figures tied to scaling or add-ons, a tight 3 per cent daily limit on the 1-Step, an inactivity rule that closes idle accounts, and a contracting company in the Comoros.
  • India: FundedNext is named on the RBI Alert List (no. 83, list updated 19 November 2025) of entities not authorised to deal in forex under FEMA. See prop trading in India.
  • Suits: forex traders who want a cheaper, slower two-step route with static limits.

Which FundedNext route suits whom

RouteSuitsWatch out for
Stellar 2-StepMost forex traders; static limits and a refunded feeFive minimum days per phase
Stellar 1-StepTraders with small, steady days3% daily limit, 6% maximum loss
Stellar LiteTraders who want a lower upfront cost4% daily limit; no challenge-phase reward
Stellar InstantProven traders who want payouts from day one6% trailing maximum loss

Rules that catch traders out

  • The 60-day inactivity rule closes any CFD account with no trade in 60 consecutive days.
  • Daily loss includes unrealised P&L, swaps and commission, so open trades and costs count.
  • Trading days need a non-zero P&L trade to count towards the minimum.
  • The higher splits come through scaling or a paid add-on, not on every account from the start.

Restricted countries and the RBI list

FundedNext says it does not offer services to residents of North Korea, Myanmar, Belarus, Iran and Russia. Separately, the RBI’s Alert List names FundedNext at entry 83 among entities not authorised to deal in forex under FEMA, which Indian readers should weigh before anything else. See prop trading in India.

Illustrative example: picking Lite or 2-Step

A trader with occasional 3.5 per cent losing days compares Lite, with a 4 per cent daily limit, and the 2-Step, with 5 per cent. The 2-Step costs more upfront but gives more room and refunds its fee; for this trader, it is the safer route.
